Grab and MOVE IT are expanding their Kaagapay Social Protection program with Maxicare, giving eligible driver-, rider-, and delivery-partners access to free, unlimited doctor consultations starting November 2026.
The program is currently being piloted in Metro Manila, with plans to expand to other cities. Under the new benefit, partners who meet the program’s eligibility requirements each month will receive coverage for the following month and can visit Maxicare Clinics nationwide for unlimited consultations during their covered period.
Partners can also choose to extend the benefit to a family member for an additional monthly fee. Nominated dependents can receive up to three consultations per year.
The expanded program also gives partners the option to top up additional benefits, including Maxicare Insurance of up to P50,000 and an Annual Physical Exam.
Grab and MOVE IT said the enhanced healthcare benefits were developed following consultations with their driver communities, who identified access to healthcare as one of their biggest areas of need.
The Maxicare partnership is part of the broader Kaagapay program, which also provides free life insurance through AXA, subsidized Pag-IBIG contributions, and health and medicine incentives. Partners across both platforms also have emergency accident coverage from Cocolife and AIG.
The expanded program was announced during Health & Wheelness, Grab Philippines and MOVE IT’s annual event for partners and their families. The event provides free medical, dental, and eye check-ups, as well as access to PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and SSS services and talks on health, finances, and road safety.
