This move is projected to create at least 6,000 jobs and generate an estimated economic impact of at least $500 million over the next three years.
The Philippines will become a major hub for Ascendion’s global delivery operations, with a focus on AI-driven software engineering. All Ascendion software engineers in the country will receive AI deployment certification, ensuring that the workforce is equipped for the next generation of software development.
Ascendion is investing in several key initiatives, including AI-enabled engineering teams and 100% AI certification for its engineers. It also opened AI Studio Manila, a new facility dedicated to collaborative AI development, innovation, and software engineering research.
Ascendion’s engineers in the Philippines are already applying AI in software development for Fortune 500 companies, delivering significant results like improved efficiency and cost reduction. The company is also bringing two AI-driven platforms to the Philippines: Ascendion AVA+ and MeTAL, designed to enhance productivity and connect Filipino professionals with global projects.
The integration of Collabera Digital under the Ascendion brand aims to strengthen Manila’s role as a key center for AI-powered software engineering and create a robust AI ecosystem in the Philippines.
