Apple launches sleek, smart, powerful iPhone 17 series, starts at P57,990

It’s official: Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup has arrived. With bold new designs, faster performance, and iOS 26 powered by Apple Intelligence, these iPhones are ready for everything you throw at them.

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max feature a brushed aluminum unibody crafted from aerospace-grade alloy and a vapor chamber cooling system that keeps the new A19 Pro chip running smoothly, whether you’re gaming, editing video, or using AI-powered features.

With a 6-core CPU, redesigned 6-core GPU with Neural Accelerators, and 16-core Neural Engine, performance is up to 40% faster under sustained use.

A new N1 chip brings Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and improved AirDrop, while the Pro Max delivers Apple’s longest battery life ever. Both Pro models can reach 50% charge in just 20 minutes with the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter.

The displays measure 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, delivering up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, 120Hz ProMotion, and Always-On support.

Both the front and back of the devices are protected by Ceramic Shield 2, offering 3x better scratch resistance and 4x better crack protection.

Photography gets a boost with a triple 48MP Fusion camera system—main, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses with 4x optical zoom at 100mm and an incredible 8x optical zoom at 200mm.

In front, there’s an 18MP Center Stage front camera for landscape selfies, AI-assisted framing, ultra-stable 4K HDR video, and Dual Capture.

Meanwhile, the base model iPhone 17 now comes with a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR ProMotion display, the new A19 chip, and a 48MP Dual Fusion camera system with 2x zoom and ultrawide macro.

It also shares the 18MP Center Stage selfie camera found on the Pro models.

Like its Pro brothers, the standard iPhone 17 runs on iOS 26 and features Apple Intelligence. Faster wired charging also enables the iPhone 17 to be charged to 50% in just 20 minutes.
