ACMobility has acquired Evro, the Philippines’ first brand-agnostic roaming electric vehicle (EV) charging network, developed by Globe’s venture builder and innovation arm, 917Ventures.
Evro aims to enhance the accessibility and convenience of EV charging across the country.
This acquisition marks a significant step toward addressing a critical challenge faced by EV users: the limited availability of charging stations, especially in areas outside major cities. By integrating Evro into its operations, ACMobility is poised to bridge these infrastructure gaps and support the growing adoption of EVs in the Philippines.
As an e-Mobility Service Provider (eMSP), Evro consolidates charging networks across different brands and Charge-Point Operators (CPOs). This unified approach makes charging stations more accessible to local EV users. Notably, the Evro app is the only platform in the Philippines recognized by the Department of Energy (DOE).

Through the Evro app, EV drivers can locate the nearest available charging point and check its compatibility with their vehicle, monitor charging status remotely, and make cashless payments via GCash or credit card directly though the app.
Currently, the app features 33 live charging locations managed and operated by ACMobility, located in prime areas including One Bonifacio High Street; Greenbelt 3; Alabang Town Center; Trinoma; Nuvali Solenad 1; Baguio Ayala Technohub; Ayala Center Cebu; Abreeza Mall Davao; and Anvaya Golf and Sports Club in Morong, Bataan.
Evro is currently in talks to onboard more CPOs onto the platform, with plans to expand its network further in the coming months.
The Evro app is available to download for free on Google Play and the App Store. Registration to create an account is also free.
