Yamaha Motor Philippines hosted an exclusive riding event from October 17 to 19, bringing together NMAX Tech MAX owners who were among the first 155 to purchase the model when it launched in March 2025.
Starting from Quezon City and heading to San Fernando, Pampanga, participants were challenged to test the NMAX Tech MAX’s advanced Y-ECVT technology under real riding conditions.

The Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA) guided the group with Y-ECVT hand signals, helping riders switch between Touring and Sports Modes and explore the scooter’s three-level downshift controls.
On the winding roads of Jose Abad Santos highway connecting San Fernando, Mexico, Apalit, and Lubao, Pampanga, the riders engaged Touring Mode for smooth, controlled acceleration and effortless cruising.

As the route turned toward Zambales’ coastal roads, the riders switched to Sports Mode—unleashing sharper power delivery and precision handling on the twisty Bagac-Morong Road in Bataan.

The experience showcased how the Y-ECVT system transforms responsiveness and control, allowing riders to feel an instinctive connection between throttle, terrain, and speed.
Yamaha plans to expand this hands-on experience nationwide through upcoming NMAX Tech MAX and Aerox SP test ride events, giving more riders the chance to discover the next evolution of performance riding.
