Yamaha Motor Philippines has introduced the all-new Mio Gear S, a versatile scooter aimed at active urban riders. It offers practical features, smart technology, and everyday versatility designed to complement a wide range of daily activities.
The Mio Gear S is powered by Yamaha’s new 125cc Air-Cooled Blue Core Hybrid Engine with Smart Motor Generator technology, which delivers fuel efficiency and smoother acceleration through Electric Power Assist. The Stop & Start System further reduces fuel consumption by automatically switching off the engine during idling.
For added confidence on city roads, the Mio Gear S is equipped with 12-inch wide tubeless tires, bright LED headlights, and hazard lights for improved visibility in various riding conditions.
The scooter comes with an 18.6-liter underseat storage compartment that can accommodate everyday essentials, complemented by a spacious footboard that provides ample legroom and additional carrying space.
Utility-focused features include a multi-function grab bar with a flat surface for boxes or travel bags, sturdy cargo hooks, a narrow seat for easier ground reach, and a back-step that improves comfort when carrying larger baggage. A 5.1-liter fuel tank also helps reduce the need for frequent refueling.
Additional features include a large digital meter panel, an electric power socket for charging devices, and Yamaha’s answer-back system for easier motorcycle location in crowded parking areas.
Available in Ceramic Gray, Basalt Gray, and Matte Brown, the new Mio Gear S carries a suggested retail price of P81,900.
