Xiaomi to launch 12S series with Leica branding on July 4

It’s official: The Xiaomi 12S series, which will debut the brand’s partnership with Leica, will be officially unveiled on July 4.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun took to Twitter to announce the upcoming product launch.

Xiaomi also said that the 12S will be joined by the 12S Pro and 12S Ultra—all confirmed to be co-engineered with Leica imaging tech.

Xiaomi hasn’t detailed the specs of the 12S series smartphones yet, but the company said the 12S is a small-sized high-end flagship, while the 12S Pro is 2022’s “new flagship standard” The 12S Ultra, on the other hand, is touted as the “new height of mobile imaging flagship.”
