vivo is also offering the Y35 with freebies for online purchases, as well as installment plans via credit card and Home Credit.
What’s in the box?
Inside the minimalist white box of the Y35 are the unit itself, a USB cable and 44W Fast Charge power adapter, a clear phone case, a SIM eject tool, and documentation (quick start guide and warranty card).
The vivo Y35 is svelte at 8.28mm. Its 2.5D curvature—meaning the display has a slight curvature toward its edges—makes the phone nice and easy to hold. Housed in a waterdrop notch is the 16-megapixel front camera.
On the right edge of the phone are the easy-to-reach power button/fingerprint scanner and volume keys, while the left edge is kept clean.
The bottom edge of the Y35 is quite busy: there’s a 3.5mm jack, microphone, USB Type-C port, and speaker.
Up top is a tray for two nano SIM cards and one microSD card.
At the back is the camera bump that houses the 50MP main rear camera, 2MP depth, 2MP macro camera, and flash.
Strike battery worries off the list

The vivo Y35’s large 5000mAh battery with AI power saving technology keeps you going for hours at a stretch. You can even squeeze in time for entertainment during your break or downtime.
The battery supports 44W fast charging, which means you get up to a suitable amount of juice much quicker. After draining the battery, we charged the phone and was able to regain 30% in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes of charging, battery power was up to 70%. Now that’s definitely quick as a flash!
Bigger RAM, bigger storage
The phone’s 256GB built-in ROM means you can keep and enjoy all your favorite photos, videos, and apps in your phone without fear of running out of memory. You can even pop in a 1TB microSD card to further expand the storage.
Think those tons of files on your phone should be a cause for concern? Don’t fret. The vivo Y35 comes with a huge 8GB RAM and is also the first in vivo’s Y series to have an 8GB extended RAM—the top in the industry! This converts 8GB of idle space into additional RAM for a total of 16GB. We tried multitasking with this phone, and switching between several apps was definitely smooth.
No slowing down
The vivo Y35 is powered by Qualcomm’s 6nm Snapdragon 680 chipset, which is designed to deliver strong performance while conserving power. You can enjoy watching and streaming videos, playing games, taking brilliant photos, and listening to rich audio without the phone bogging down on the performance front.
Helping make this phone faster is Multi-Turbo 5.5, which intelligently optimizes power to increase smoothness and stability, especially when you’re playing games.
And speaking of, the vivo Y35 comes with Ultra Game Mode, which enhances your gaming experience. In this mode, you can block notifications during gameplay, improve the balance between the phone’s temperature and game performance, and enable game sound quality and sound effects, among others.

Creating beautiful, engaging content is easy with the vivo Y35 courtesy of the phone’s triple camera setup: 50MP f/1.8 main camera, 2MP f/2.4 bokeh, and 2MP f/2.4 macro cameras. The large sensor of the main camera means you’ll get vivid shots even at night.
