vivo is set to soon introduce the vivo V80 Lite, featuring a 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery—the largest battery capacity ever offered on a vivo smartphone globally, according to the company.
Designed for users who rely on their phones throughout long workdays and commutes, the V80 Lite combines its high-capacity battery with 4th Gen Silicon Anode Technology, which is engineered to deliver extended endurance without the bulk typically associated with batteries of this size.
vivo’s laboratory tests offer an early indication of the phone’s endurance. Under controlled conditions, the V80 Lite recorded up to 30 hours of video streaming, 30 hours of TikTok playback, 68 hours of calls, and 14 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) gaming in single-app usage scenarios.
The battery is also engineered to retain at least 80% of its capacity after 1,400 charging cycles. Based on vivo’s simulated daily usage pattern of approximately 1.83 days per full charge and discharge, the company says this is equivalent to roughly seven years of use.
The V80 Lite is designed to operate from -30°C to 45°C, with its semi-solid electrolyte engineered for stable power in high-temperature conditions. In vivo laboratory tests at 45°C, the device delivered up to 45 hours of continuous calls and 16 hours of navigation.
