Suzuki Philippines launched two high-performance bikes at the recent Makina Moto Show: the GSX-8R and the GSX-S1000GX.

The GSX-8R is powered by a 776cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that’s paired with a six-speed manual transmission.

The middleweight sportbike is equipped with LED headlights, an LCD instrument cluster, forged aluminum separate handlebars, Showa suspension system, three riding modes, and a 14-iter fuel tank.

The GSX-8R is priced at P679,000 and is available in Metallic Triton Blue and Metallic Matte Black.

The GSX-S1000GX, on the other hand, is powered by a 999cc liquid-cooled, four-cylinder gasoline engine mated to a six-speed constant mesh manual gearbox.

This big bike is Suzuki’s first motorcycle featuring the Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES). This system adjusts suspension damping and preload electronically based on vehicle speed, road conditions, and braking.

It’s also equipped with Suzuki Road Adaptive Stabilization (SRAS), which uses data to detect uneven road surfaces and adjust suspension for a smooth ride on rough roads and sporty performance on smooth roads.

The GSX-S1000GX is priced at P969,000 and is available in Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black.
