Suzuki Philippines recently concluded the first leg of the Burgman EconoTour, a 275-kilometer ride that put the Burgman Street Standard and Executive Class (EX) scooters to the ultimate test of fuel efficiency, comfort, and reliability.
The tour, which kicked off at 3am from Suzuki Caloocan Cyclemar 3S Shop, brought riders through Pampanga, Tarlac, and Pangasinan before reaching Coco’s Beach in Bolinao.
A total of 136 riders completed the full route, underscoring the Burgman Street’s ability to deliver a fatigue-free and enjoyable long-distance ride. Media representatives and vloggers also joined the convoy.

Despite challenging weather and road conditions, participants achieved a remarkable average fuel consumption of 70 km/L—far exceeding the Burgman Street Standard’s WMTC-rated 54.9 km/L and the EX’s 56.8 km/L. This impressive performance highlighted the scooter’s economic edge and its reputation as a leader in its class.
Riders passed through checkpoints at Suzuki Pampanga Wheeltek 3S Shop, Suzuki Tarlac LGK Guanzon 3S Shop, and Suzuki Alaminos Guanzon 3S Shop, with the first rider crossing the finish line at around 10am and the last at 1:20pm.

Participants praised the scooter’s relaxed seating, spacious floorboard, and stable handling, noting how these features made the journey smooth and comfortable.
The Burgman EconoTour highlighted the Burgman Street’s efficiency and comfort in real-world conditions, showing why it is a practical choice for both daily commutes and longer rides. The event also gave riders a chance to experience first-hand how the scooter performs on varied roads and weather, further reinforcing its appeal among Filipino motorcyclists.
