Suzuki Philippines is raising the bar for premium urban commuting with the launch of the all-new Burgman 15, making the Philippines the first market in ASEAN to introduce the 150cc scooter.
Positioned around Suzuki’s “Intelligent Luxury” philosophy, the new model combines upscale styling, smart technology, and everyday practicality for riders looking to upgrade their daily commute.
The scooter was unveiled during a launch event at the Market! Market! Activity Center in Taguig, where Suzuki Philippines President Koichiro Hirao said the introduction reflects the company’s more than five decades of understanding the needs of Filipino riders. He noted that the Burgman 15 was developed for commuters seeking a premium riding experience without sacrificing everyday convenience and performance.
Powering the Burgman 15 is a 150cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that delivers 14.2hp and 14.2Nm of torque while achieving a claimed fuel efficiency of 43.6km/L. Designed for city streets and longer rides alike, the scooter also features 14-inch wheels, twin rear suspension with sub-tanks, and a spacious riding position for improved comfort and stability.
The Burgman 15 is equipped with rider-focused technologies, including a traction control system, tire pressure monitoring system, side stand safety switch, engine auto stop-start system, and dual USB Type-C charging ports.
Other premium touches include a full-color TFT instrument display, keyless intelligent key system, full LED lighting, and a top box-ready rear carrier.
The Suzuki Burgman 15 is available in Pearlescent White with Metallic Matte Gold and Pearlescent Black with Metallic Matte Gray, with a suggested retail price of P165,000.
