As more Filipinos embrace pickleball, SM Supermalls is helping cultivate a vibrant and inclusive community around the sport. By providing accessible playing venues and organizing grassroots tournaments, SM is making it easier for people to learn the game, stay active, and build meaningful connections.
A key driver of this growing movement is the ongoing SM Active Hub Pickleball Trio Challenge, SM’s inaugural tournament series that welcomes participants from diverse communities and skill levels. The event encourages friendly competition while fostering camaraderie, giving players a platform to grow their game and strengthen connections within the pickleball community.
The first qualifying legs of the tournament have already concluded at SM City Bicutan, SM City Sta. Mesa, and SM City Santa Rosa. Upcoming qualifying rounds are set to take place at SM City Marikina and SM City Muntinlupa.
The tournament series will culminate in the Grand Finals in July 2026 at Four E-Com Center, where top-performing teams from the qualifying rounds will vie for the championship title.
Complementing its tournament initiatives, SM Supermalls continues to invest in pickleball infrastructure. With 86 courts across 29 malls, SM has established the country’s largest mall-based pickleball destination, with further expansion planned to accommodate increasing participation.
Pickleball enthusiasts can still join the remaining qualifying legs of the SM Active Hub Pickleball Trio Challenge and experience SM Pickleball Courts at participating SM malls.
