Samsung unveiled its new intelligent eyewear during the Galaxy Unpacked event in London, marking its latest effort to expand the Galaxy ecosystem beyond smartphones and into AI-powered wearables. Developed in partnership with eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, the glasses combine Samsung’s hardware with fashion-focused frame designs aimed at everyday use.
Building on concepts introduced at Google I/O earlier this year, the intelligent eyewear integrates Google’s Gemini AI to provide hands-free assistance through voice, gesture controls and a built-in camera. Samsung says the device is designed to deliver information without requiring users to look at a phone, helping them stay engaged with their surroundings.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 platform, the glasses offer up to nine hours of battery life on a single charge, with a charging case providing up to seven additional full charges. The built-in camera enables AI features such as capturing visual context, organizing notes and supporting real-time interactions.
According to Samsung, users can summarize messages, hear information read aloud, access live translation, receive navigation guidance and share their point of view during video calls. The company also said the AI can understand context across tasks to provide more relevant follow-up assistance.

Samsung introduced two launch designs: a minimalist black frame created with Gentle Monster and a brown, subtly upswept style developed with Warby Parker. The company said it worked closely with both partners to improve comfort, durability and everyday wearability while offering styles suited to different preferences.
