Samsung is leveling up its A series with the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, packing in smarter AI tools, tougher builds, and features built to keep up with everyday life. The new phones aim to give more users access to flagship-like experiences without the flagship price tag.
“Awesome Intelligence,” Samsung’s AI platform integrated into One UI 8.5, anchors the new lineup. The suite focuses on productivity, with features such as Voice Transcription for converting audio into text and AI Select for streamlined on-screen actions, including text extraction and drag-and-drop functionality across multitasking windows.
Taking photos and editing them is now easier with AI-powered improvements. Object Eraser removes distractions more naturally, while Best Face on the Galaxy A57 5G helps ensure everyone looks their best in group shots. Built-in tools such as Filters, Edit Suggestions, and Auto Trim make quick edits effortless, while Circle to Search can now identify multiple items in a single image.
Both devices feature a triple-camera system led by a 50MP main sensor, supported by improved image processing for sharper and more vibrant results. Enhanced Nightography ensures clearer photos in low-light conditions, while AI-based scene optimization improves portrait quality and background separation.
An ultra-wide lens and macro camera provide added versatility for different shooting scenarios.
Performance gets a boost, particularly with the Galaxy A57 5G’s upgraded CPU, GPU, and NPU. It delivers smooth streaming and multitasking, powered by a 5000mAh battery.
Both phones also feature Super AMOLED+ displays with Vision Booster and slimmer bezels for a more immersive screen experience.
Both the Galaxy A37 5G and A57 5G are rated IP68 for water and dust resistance. Samsung is also offering up to six generations of Android and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates.
Speaking of security, the devices feature Knox Vault, a hardware-based protection system, alongside tools such as the Security & Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker, and a new Private Album for safeguarding personal media. Privacy Alerts further enhance user awareness by flagging potential risks in real time.
