Powerhouse Tools is set to open its newest branch in Monumento, Caloocan, on February 21, a milestone that underscores the brand’s 2026 strategy: expanding not just in locations, but in franchisee support through structured operations and dependable infrastructure.

Since introducing its franchise model in 2021, Powerhouse Tools has seen its network mature. The focus has shifted from rapid growth to deepening support for both new and existing franchise partners, helping entrepreneurs build businesses anchored in proven systems.

Andrew Jason Go, a construction professional with no prior retail experience, represents the kind of entrepreneur the Powerhouse system was designed to support.

“Powerhouse Tools stood out because it wasn’t just selling products—it was selling a system,” Go explained. “Even without formal retail experience, I saw how structured the operations were. It was clearly built for Filipino entrepreneurs who want a real, sustainable business—not just a logo.”

Franchising appealed to Go because it offered structure, whereas independent entrepreneurship often demands costly trial and error. What sets Powerhouse Tools apart is the depth of its operational framework, covering product selection, supplier relationships, store layout, and pricing strategy. The system also addresses common barriers that can derail new businesses, such as inconsistent processes, limited supplier access, and lack of operational discipline.

The Monumento branch, situated in a high-traffic area frequented by contractors, builders, and homeowners, aims to succeed through efficiency, inventory management, and quality service.

“I hope it becomes a go-to partner for builders and homeowners alike—a place where people feel confident buying what they need because they know it works,” Go shared. “Beyond sales, I want it to be a dependable part of the community that supports local livelihoods and small projects.”
