Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has taken the wraps off the new Honda CR-V, available in two advanced e:HEV full hybrid variants and a refined VTEC Turbo option.

The flagship SUV’s sporty look is balanced by everyday practicality, making it ideal for both daily commutes and weekend getaways. The CR-V 2.0 RS e:HEV AWD E-CVT suits active, on-the-go professionals, while the quieter CR-V 2.0 VX e:HEV E-CVT offers a more refined ride. Rounding out the lineup is the CR-V 1.5 V Turbo HuNT CVT, which delivers a spirited, dynamic feel.

The e:HEV system pairs a 2.0-liter Direct Injection Atkinson-cycle engine with a dual-motor setup. The engine produces 146hp and 183Nm of torque, while the electric motors deliver up to 181hp and 335Nm, resulting in smooth, responsive acceleration and impressive fuel efficiency. Under urban driving conditions, the VX e:HEV achieves up to 29.4km/L, while the RS e:HEV AWD records 21.3km/L, based on UNR-101 test results.

Exclusive to the RS e:HEV AWD is Honda’s Real-Time All-Wheel Drive system, engineered to enhance stability, cornering precision, and traction even on wet roads.

The V Turbo HuNT variant, on the other hand, is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces 187hp and 240Nm, and achieves 16.4km/L under extra-urban conditions.

The new CR-V lineup is styled for distinct lifestyles. The range-topping RS e:HEV presents a modern, active look, enhanced by exclusive Piano Black accents for a sportier, more sophisticated stance.

The VX e:HEV offers a premium hybrid expression, carrying over refined RS design cues such as Piano Black details on the tailgate spoiler garnish, door mirrors, and alloy wheels, plus new rear fog lights.

Meanwhile, the V Turbo HuNT targets adventure-seekers with a rugged character, highlighted by a Philippine-exclusive “HuNT” emblem, glossy copper grille and fog light accents, black wheel arch garnishes, silver front trim, and a running board.

Inside, the new Honda CR-V delivers a refined cabin centered on comfort, technology, and safety. All variants come with black leather seats, with the RS e:HEV distinguished by red stitching and RS branding, while a 3-spoke leather steering wheel is standard across the lineup and further refined in the RS with a black steering wheel garnish.

Safety is elevated with blind spot information and cross traffic monitor fitted to all grades, complemented by Honda SENSING features such as the collision mitigation braking system.

The head-up display, previously exclusive to the RS, is now also available on the VX variant. RS and VX variants also gain Individual Driving Mode for a more personalized experience, while Google Built-in and Honda CONNECT provide seamless connectivity and convenient vehicle control.

Supporting Honda’s shift toward electrification, the RS and VX e:HEV variants of the new Honda CR-V are backed by a specialized hybrid battery warranty of eight years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

The flagship SUV is available in Platinum White Pearl (with an additional PH20,000), Meteoroid Gray Metallic, the new Crystal Black Pearl, and Canyon River Blue Metallic,
