Basketball fans in the Philippines now have a brand new way to watch the NBA, as The Walt Disney Company and ESPN have announced a multi-year agreement to stream NBA content on Disney+ Philippines.

The partnership expands Disney and ESPN’s global relationship with the league, marking the first time that live NBA coverage will be available on Disney+ in the country.

Filipino fans can now catch select regular season and playoff games as they happen, plus special events including NBA on Christmas Day, the NBA Draft, the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, and highlighted Summer League games. Every season, Disney+ subscribers can watch one NBA Conference Finals series live, with the other Conference Finals and the NBA Finals streamed on delay.

The excitement tips off on Thursday, November 20 (PH standard time) with a back-to-back matchup: Rockets vs. Cavaliers at 8am, then Knicks vs. Mavericks at 10:30am.

Fans can also dive into ESPN’s award-winning documentaries, catch NBA Countdown live, and hear from legends Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley on NBA Tip-Off and the Emmy-winning Inside the NBA.

Subscribers can also stream a wide selection of films and series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Hulu—all in one place. From blockbusters like The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Lilo & Stitch, and Inside Out 2 to new Korean titles (Tempest and The Manipulated) and award-winning hits such as Shōgun, The Bear, Grey’s Anatomy, and Abbott Elementary, and upcoming seasons of High Potential andThe Simpsons, Disney+ offers a rich lineup for every kind of viewer.
