At Google I/O 2022 last May, the tech company announced that new Wear OS devices are coming this year from Samsung, Montblanc, Mobvoi and Fossil.

Well, German luxury brand Montblanc has finally unveiled its latest smartwatch. The Summit 3 is the first non-Samsung smartwatch to ship with Wear OS 3 by Google. The OS, which was announced at Google I/O 2021, was built in partnership with Samsung.

The Montblanc Summit 3 comes in a selection of three handcrafted 42mm cases—titanium, black titanium, and bicolor titanium—and each watch is paired with leather and rubber strap options.

The luxury smartwatch comes with a 1.28-inch circular AMOLED display with a 416 x 416 resolution. It’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chipset and packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage.

The watch also features a new selection of watch faces that are based on Montblanc timepieces like the Geosphere, Bohème, and 1858.

Summit 3 comes with a choice of two straps in Italian calf leather and high-quality rubber. A USB cable and charging cradle are also included.

Other features include GPS, heart rate monitoring, Google Pay, and health and fitness tracking. The smartwatch also has a 5 ATM rating for water and dust resistance.

The $1,290 Montblanc Summit 3 is compatible with iOS and Android devices.
