Christmas just got an adorable upgrade. From November 1, 2025, to January 12, 2026, Mitsukoshi BGC transforms into a Doraemon-themed holiday wonderland filled with festive lights, Japanese charm, and heartwarming activities for the whole family with “Doraemon: A Sparkling Adventure.”
Visitors are greeted by Mitsuko, the mall’s beloved Kokeshi doll, now dressed in her festive best. All around, playful Doraemon-themed installations add a touch of nostalgia and whimsy—ideal for Instagram-worthy holiday snaps.
Beyond the décor, Mitsukoshi BGC continues to embody refined Japanese artistry through its connection to The Seasons Residences, a luxury residential development offering elevated Japanese-inspired living right above the mall.
Festivities officially begin with “A Sparkling Holiday: Christmas Lighting Celebration” on November 4, featuring a Christmas chorale, Mitsuko’s grand holiday debut, and appearances by Doraemon and friends. Families can catch them for Meet & Greet sessions on November 8 and 9, December 6, 7, and 8, and December 13 and 14 (1pm, 3pm, and 5pm) at the 2nd Floor Event Space. Santa Claus will also make special appearances on December 20 from 11am to 1:30pm, and on December 21 and 25 at 6pm.
This November, there will be Japanese-inspired performances, including shows by LIV Dance Academy, Dream Girls & Boys, and a vibrant Taiko drumming performance by the Manila Japanese School.
Holiday shopping and dining also get a Japanese twist. Discover elegant Mitsukoshi Fresh Christmas hampers, Ichigo (Japanese strawberries), and Japanese-style gift wrapping starting November 25.
New openings like Ipponyari and ABC MART bring authentic flavors and fashion to BGC, while pop-up shops from Phiten, Kizik, Splingle Move, Gingersnaps, and Theo & Philo.
