Lenovo‘s latest laptop comes with a twist. Literally.
The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist features a rotating 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED display on one side and and a colorful 12-inch e-ink display on the other that can be easily flipped with a twist hinge.
This new, twistable ThinkBook aims to “reinvent” the 2-in-1 laptop category, all while “maintaining the core attributes of ThinkBook Plus Gen 2.”
Thanks to the twist hinge, the ThinkBook Plus Twist can be used in a variety of modes: as a traditional laptop clamshell, a tablet, or simply rotating the display to one side to offer better viewing angles. Both displays offer support for touch input and stylus pen.
The main 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED display with touch glass features a narrow bezel. On the other side is a colorful 12-inch e-Ink display with a 12Hz refresh rate and touch glass. Aside from helping reduce eye strain from longer periods of use, the e-ink also uses less power.
The ThinkBook Plus Twist comes equipped with a 1080p webcam, dual microphones that offer smart noise cancellation, Intel Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and a stylus with a claimed 18 months of battery life.
The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist will start at $1,649 and is expected to be available starting June 2023.
