LEGO ICONS has recreated one of the most successful F1 cars of all time, the 1988 McLaren MP4/4. Developed in collaboration with McLaren Racing and the Senna brand, the in-scale 10330 LEGO ICONS McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna (P5,999) has accurate detailing and realistic functions. The product includes working steering, rod suspension, an adjustable rear wing, slick tires, mirrors, a gearshift and a detailed turbocharged V6 engine, alongside a display stand for the car and Ayrton Senna minifigure.
Also included in the new range is the LEGO Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance in two different versions: one for adults aged 18+ and the other is the pull-back version for kids aged 7+.
The 42171 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance (P15,999), a 1:8 scale model for adults, features authentic livery details, a working V6 engine with moving pistons that fans can explore up close when removing the engine cover, an opening wing inspired by the real world car’s DRS, individual suspension, functioning steering and slick tires.
Meanwhile, the pull-back version—42165 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance Pull Back (P1,999)—offers both an authentic look and realistic movement for a great action-packed play.
The 76919 LEGO Speed Champions 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car (P1,500) for kids 9+ gives young fans the opportunity to experience the black-and-papaya livery as well as iconic design details from the real-life race car coming to life as they build. The buildable car kit also comes with a driver minifigure.
The 42141 LEGO Technic McLaren Formula 1 Race Car (P13,999), which launched in 2022, remains in the LEGO Group’s portfolio, so families can share a fun building experience together.
The 76922 LEGO Speed Champions BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Cars (P3,799) features two detailed models as well as two LEGO minifigure drivers. Each of the race cars is packed with authentic details highlighting the iconic German car maker’s style and high performance. They also come with a removable roof and a driver minifigure for kids to place inside for racing action.
For kids aged 4+, there’s the 60399 LEGO City Green Race Car (P699) that has a racing driver and photographer for fun role play, as well as realistic features such as sporty tires and a cool rear spoiler.
The 60406 LEGO City Race Car and Car Carrier Truck (P2,199), on the other hand, includes a race car with sleek ‘slammed-wide’ design featuring lowered suspension and flared fenders, as well as a transporter with loading ramp to board the racing car. Two minifigure drivers are also part of the set.
LEGO enthusiasts are invited to join the CALABARZON Motor Show 2024 at Ayala Malls Soledad from April 19 to 21, and in SM Mall of Asia Central Atrium from May 19 to 25. Get ready for the thrilling “Pick, Build, Race” challenge, where kids aged 5 to 15 can showcase their skills by building and racing their own vehicles.
Adding to the thrill are the special appearances of the iconic LEGO Spaceman and LEGO Kai on April 20 and 21, respectively, at Ayala Mall Solenad, and on May 25 at SM Mall of Asia Central Atrium.
