Logistics and delivery service provider J&T Express was recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) – Division of Lapu-Lapu City for its dedication to quality education and supporting Filipino youth.
The recognition was awarded during the Annual Stakeholders’ Summit on December 4 at the Crown Regency Hotel and Suites in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. This acknowledgment comes months after J&T Express participated in DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela program, where the company donated school supplies and materials to over 100 students from Poo Elementary School on Olango Island.
“We are truly grateful to receive this recognition from DepEd. Partaking in DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela is one of our ways to embody our commitment to supporting the programs of our local and national government agencies,” said Zoe Chi, Vice President of J&T Express Philippines. “At J&T Express, we believe in strengthening our role, not only in serving our customers but also in creating better opportunities for students and local communities.”
J&T Express continues to champion the bayanihan spirit through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, J&T Cares. This initiative reflects the company’s mission to extend care beyond deliveries, by helping connect and uplift communities across the country.
