Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) formally pledged to extend its aftersales support to the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) existing fleet of Hyundai Patrol Cars.
This comprises of 81 Grand Starex and 49 Elantra units, which were turned over by the Republic of Korea (ROK), through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Korean National Police Agency (KNPA).
Furthermore, KOICA through KNPA has committed to PNP financial aid which covers $245,000 worth of preventive maintenance and related services as well as $145,000 worth of Hyundai genuine parts, components, and materials. These shall be fulfilled and carried out through HMPH authorized dealers or service centers nationwide.
The signed agreement shall range for two years but subject to extension on the account of both parties.
