Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) has officially revealed the all-new Santa Fe HEV and new Tucson HEV—the first Hyundai Hybrid models to be introduced to the Philippine market.
The same hybrid drivetrain powers both vehicles: a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine paired with an electric motor. Its hybrid system comes with e-Dynamic Drive that allows electric-powered handling, traction, evasive handling assist, dynamic torque vectoring control, and smart regenerative braking system.
The Santa Fe Hybrid is based on the top-end Calligraphy variant. This means it’s equipped with features such as Nappa leather upholstery, first-row relaxation comfort seats, second-row captain seats with remote folding function, UV-C sterilization, dual wireless charging pads with built-in cooling fans, 12.3-inch panoramic curved infotainment display, and a bi-directional storage console.
For safety, it comes with the Hyundai SmartSense ADAS suite, which includes a forward collision-avoidance assist, all-around parking distance warnings, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, and surround view monitor, among others.
The all-new Santa Fe HEV is available in select Hyundai dealerships with a retail price of P3,330,000. It comes in six colors: Abyss Black, Creamy White, Magnetic Gray, Earthy Brass, Terracotta Orange, and Ocado Green.
Meanwhile, those looking for a more compact hybrid SUV can check out the new 2025 Tucson Hybrid. It receives a mild exterior update on its radiator grille and front and rear bumpers, plus it gets a new wheel design.
Inside, it comes with a 12.3-inch panoramic curved infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, floating type console box, steering column-mounted shift-by-wire lever, and seat remote folding system.
The new Tucson will retail in select Hyundai dealerships for P2,290,000 in seven colors: Pine Green, Phantom Black Pearl, White Cream, Shimmering Silver, Amazon Gray, Deep Sea, and Cashmere Bronze.
The updated Tucson is also available with gasoline (P1,680,000) and diesel (P1,980,000) powertrains.
Both hybrid vehicles come with HEV warranty coverage of 5 years/200,000km, and a High Voltage Battery warranty for 8 years/160,000km.
