HUAWEI is introducing its latest foldable smartphone, the Mate X7, to the Philippines on February 19. Dubbed the ‘King of Foldables,’ the Mate X7 combines a sleek design with durable construction and the kind of performance you’d expect from a flagship device.
Slim, sleek, and wrapped in soft vegan leather, the Mate X7 features HUAWEI’s innovative Time-Space Gate camera design and is available in Nebula Red and Black. The outer screen uses ultra-strong Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass, and the inner screen has a layered design to handle repeated folding. With an advanced precision hinge and aviation-grade aluminum frame, the Mate X7 is ready for everyday life, whether folded or unfolded.
Water and dust resistance are equally impressive, with IP59 and IP58 ratings allowing the phone to survive splashes, spills, and immersion in up to 2 meters of water for 30 minutes.
The Mate X7’s True-to-Colour Camera is designed to capture photos that look closer to what you see in real life, with richer and more accurate colors. Paired with a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera and a 50MP telephoto macro camera, the phone handles everything from bright outdoor shots to low-light scenes with ease, while also letting users zoom in or get up close.
The foldable’s immersive display experience includes a 6.49-inch outer screen and an 8-inch inner screen powered by X-True Display technology. Performance is supported by a 5600mAh silicon-carbon anode battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless SuperCharge.
The HUAWEI Mate X7 will officially launch on February 19, alongside the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S 2026, HUAWEI FreeClip 2, and other new products.
