HONOR Philippines kicks off 2023 with the launch of its “first-ever premium budget phone”—the HONOR X9a 5G.
This latest addition to the HONOR X Series delivers best-in-class visuals and performance with a 6.67-inch OLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rate.

The HONOR X9a 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset with 8GB RAM + 5GB dynamic RAM (or what the company calls (HONOR RAM Turbo) and 256GB storage.
It’s comes with a large camera ring at the back, which houses its three cameras: a 64MP main shooter, a 5MP wide, and a 2MP macro. On the top center of the display is a pinhole that houses a 16MP shooter for selfies and video chat.
HONOR was able to fit in a 5100mAh battery in the phone’s thin (7.9mm) and light (175g) body. According to HONOR, this huge cell can last up to 29 hours of YouTube Music listening, 24 hours of YouTube streaming, 19 hours of TikTok browsing, up to 21 hours of social media exploring, or 11 hours of gaming on a single charge.
It supports 40W fast charging over USB-C. With just 30 minutes of charging, the phone can already deliver 12.5 hours of video streaming.
Pricing and availability
From January 20 to February 3, you can pre-order the HONOR X9a 5G for P16,990 via all HONOR kiosks and partner online stores: Lazada, Shopee, Tiktok Shop, and Home Credit. It will come with a free HONOR Earbuds X3 Lite worth P3,999.
You can also avail the HONOR X9a 5G via Home Credit for as low as P661 per month with insurance, P765 without insurance, and on a 0% interest installment payment.
The phone is available in two stunning colors: Titanium Silver and Emerald Green.
