HONOR announced at the ongoing Snapdragon Summit 2024 that its upcoming HONOR Magic7 Series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform.
HONOR revealed its vision for an AI-first ecosystem alongside the features of the Magic7 Series, and gave a sneak peak of what its new flagship will look like.
The HONOR Magic7 Series will debut the industry’s first on-device AI Agent for an open ecosystem. This intelligent assistant can perform a wide range of tasks—from ordering takeout via a simple text or voice prompt to managing subscriptions and making intelligent decisions. For example, with consent, it can learn from user habits—such as knowing a preference for coconut milk in coffee.
The AI agent can likewise assist in travel planning, booking tickets, managing calendars, and transferring files across apps and services.

The Magic7 Series will also bring on-device generative AI to gaming powered by NPU computing. It will introduce the industry’s first real-time AI graphics rendering for mobile gaming. Compared to other smartphones, HONOR’s solution reduces GPU load, leading to lower device temperatures and a better gaming experience with higher image quality.
During the summit, HONOR highlighted its partnership with Qualcomm Technologies to build an AI-first ecosystem aimed at improving connectivity, performance, and interaction. A key part of this innovation is MagicRing, a system that enables secure and smooth service sharing across devices.
For example, users can use Cocreator, a Windows-on-Snapdragon feature, on devices like the HONOR MagicPad 2 to turn simple sketches into detailed artwork with the Magic Pencil. The AI Eraser on the HONOR Magic V3 can also be used on the HONOR MagicBook Art 14, showcasing the ease of AI across HONOR’s devices.
