Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. has launched the updated Honda City, City Hatchback, and Civic RS e:HEV, featuring refreshed styling, new convenience features, and enhanced driving technology to its local lineup..
The new Honda City and City Hatchback receive exterior updates, including new 16-inch alloy wheels, clear-lens taillights, and a connected headlight design. The City RS also gets a new trunk accent and high gloss black door handles, while the City Hatchback RS features a redesigned rear bumper.

Inside, the City RS with Honda SENSING and the City Hatchback RS now feature a larger 10-inch display audio system. Updated seat trims and rear USB-C charging ports are also included in these RS variants, as well as the City V CVT Honda SENSING.

Both the new City and City Hatchback use a 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine paired with a CVT, producing 119hp and 145Nm. Honda lists fuel economy figures of up to 25.17 km/L for the City and 25 km/L for the City Hatchback, based on the Honda-AAP Eco Run in 2021.
Honda SENSING, the automaker’s suite of driver-assistance technologies, is standard across the City’s S, V, and RS variants and the City Hatchback RS. The RS variants also gain rain-sensing wipers, a Honda LaneWatch Camera, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The City is offered in S, V, and RS variants, while the City Hatchback is available locally in the RS variant. Both models add Urban Gray Pearl and Blazing Red Pearl to their color options, with availability depending on the model and variant.
The Honda Civic RS e now comes with S+ Shift, a feature designed to make driving the hybrid sedan more engaging.
The system enhances Sport mode by letting drivers use the paddle shifters for simulated upshifts and rev-matched downshifts. Active Sound Control also produces amplified engine sounds that change with acceleration and deceleration.
Despite these sportier driving features, the Civic RS e retains the efficiency of its hybrid powertrain, with a claimed fuel economy of 30.12 km/L based on the Department of Energy’s 2025 Eco-Run.
The model continues to offer Honda SENSING, Honda CONNECT, and Google Automotive Services. It is available in five colors, including the new Urban Gray Pearl and Blazing Red Pearl.
