Honda Foundation, Inc. (HFI), together with the Department of Education–Schools Division Office (DepEd-SDO) of Santa Rosa City, partner schools, and the local government, brought its Students on Safety (SOS) Program to 11 public schools in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
The initiative reached more than 380 students aged 16 and above, along with faculty members, through interactive road safety sessions designed to help young Filipinos develop safer mobility habits and become more responsible road users.
The sessions were conducted by Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC)-certified instructors, who introduced students to essential road safety practices through discussions, engaging activities, and practical exercises. The hands-on approach was designed to make learning about responsible road use more accessible and enjoyable.

The SOS Program is part of HFI’s broader efforts to promote a culture of road safety among Filipino communities and across generations. It also supports Honda’s global goal of achieving zero traffic collision fatalities by 2050.
Through the program, HFI encourages students to apply what they learned in their everyday journeys, whether they are walking, riding, driving, or sharing the road with others.

HFI is the corporate social responsibility arm of the Honda Group of Companies in the Philippines, comprising Honda Philippines, Honda Cars Philippines, Honda Trading Philippines Ecozone, and Honda Logistics Philippines.
