To further empower the next generation of skilled workers, Honda Foundation Inc. (HFI) has inaugurated its second Honda-TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) learning space in Batangas.
Opened at the TESDA Regional Training Center – CALABARZON, the Honda–TESDA RTC CALABARZON TechDrive Hub offers students access to modern training tools and diagnostic equipment. The program is part of HFI’s continuing partnership with TESDA.
HFI donated four motorcycle training units and two hybrid cars for instructional purposes and restoration training. In addition, HFI provided specialized tools designed for maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures.
The initiative also opens career pathways for top-performing students. Qualified trainees may undergo on-the-job training with Honda Philippines Inc. and Honda Cars Philippines Inc., with opportunities for eventual employment across Honda’s nationwide dealer network.
HFI said it remains committed to collaborating with academic institutions and stakeholders to support Filipino youth, as it continues efforts to contribute meaningfully to society through education and workforce development.
