Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) officially opened its 35th anniversary celebration, Honda Fest, on December 5 with a program that highlighted the brand’s heritage and future direction.
The event began with a special message from HCPI President Rie Miyake, followed by a guided walkthrough of the activation area and culminating in the much-anticipated reveal of the all-new Prelude.

While Honda Fest offered a preview of the classic coupe’s electrified comeback, HCPI confirmed that it will officially launch in 2026. Miyake described the model as a bridge between Honda’s storied legacy and its evolving technologies—marking a new chapter in the company’s hybrid expansion in the Philippines.
The celebration showcased Honda’s evolution through a lineup that paired pre-loved classics with their modern counterparts. On display were well-loved models such as the 2000 CR-V, 1998 Civic SiR, 2001 HR-V, and the 1993 Prelude, placed alongside their current electrified versions. HCPI’s ICE offerings, including the best-selling BR-V and City, were also featured, with test drives available throughout the weekend.

HCPI further shared updates on its dealer network transformation aimed at enhancing customer experience. Starting January 1, 2026, the Gateway Group will operate Honda Cars Makati, Cebu, Negros, and Cagayan de Oro, while the Borromeo Motoring Group will manage Honda Cars Bacoor, Pasig, Mandaue, and Iloilo. HCPI will also directly operate Honda Cars Shaw through its own subsidiary, and Honda Cars Tacloban is set to become fully operational soon.
Honda Fest also served as the debut venue for Pro Honda engine oil—manufactured specifically for Honda vehicles to provide owners with a more convenient and reliable service option. Attendees received limited Pro Honda merchandise and product samples.

Rounding out the festivities were test rides of Honda’s electric bikes from Honda Philippines, Inc., road safety activities for kids by the Honda Safety Driving Center, and a special showcase from the Honda Club of the Philippines. HCPI also announced that its 35th anniversary promo, “35 Years: Driving Dreams Forward,” has been extended until December 31, 2025.
