From February 16, exploring the metro’s entertainment hotspots becomes easier with the Department of Tourism’s (DOT) addition of a new route to its Hop-On Hop-Off (HoHo) bus tours.

The “Entertainment Hub”—the third and most recent stop of DOT’s bus tours initiative—launched last February 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall—opens the door to vibrant attractions in one go.

HoHo tours allow you to explore on your own terms by getting off at an attraction on the tour route and getting on the next HoHo bus after you’re done.

The new route promises “diverse areas of Pasay and Paranaque, featuring modern complexes, bustling nightlife, and cultural landmarks.” There are multiple designated bus stops, including the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Main Drop-Off, MOA Music Hall Drop-Off, SMX Convention Center, and Luxe Duty Free.

Here is the complete list of bus stops:

  • Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 1, 2, and 3
  • Newport World Resorts
  • City of Dreams
  • Ayala Malls Manila Bay
  • Parqa
  • Okada Manila
  • Solaire Resort
  • Luxe Duty Free
  • MOA Main Stop
  • SMX Convention Center
  • MOA Seaside

The service operates from 2pm to 11pm, Tuesdays to Sundays.

The Metro-Manila Hop-on Hop-off, Travel by Hub, a collaboration between DOT-National Capital Region (NCR) and private stakeholders, provides a convenient and contactless travel experience. Strategically located hubs in Metro Manila provide guided tours to selected destinations, inspired by similar initiatives in global cities like New York, London, Madrid, and Singapore.

The Entertainment Hub follows the Makati (Business) and Manila (Cultural) routes, which were both launched last year.

You can check the bus schedules and purchase tickets through the Philippine Hop-On Hop-Off mobile app, downloadable on both Play Store and the App Store.
