Just in time for the local launch of the new eSIM-ready iPhone 14 series, Globe announced that it has made getting an eSIM even easier through the New Globe Online Shop.
Globe launched the eSIM in 2018, becoming the first to bring to market the integrated SIM chip embedded in mobile devices. An eSIM is embedded in your device and lets you activate a plan without using a physical SIM card.
In 2021, the telco launched the eSIM-enabled ONENUMBER technology—the first in the Philippines—that allows customers to share the same number between their phones and watches, particularly on Apple devices.
This means that iPhone plan inclusions such as data allowance, calls, and texts are shared with a paired Apple Watch. Customers also get an additional 1GB per month when subscribed to ONENUMBER.
To get an iPhone 14 or Apple Watch with eSIM, just subscribe to Globe’s GPlan and choose eSIM as the preferred SIM type. Once the application is approved, you will get the eSIM activation QR code through your registered email address.
If you prefer, you may also go to the nearest Globe Store to avail of the latest Apple devices with eSIM. Different payment options are available, such as charge to bill, zero interest on installment up to 36 months using select credit cards, and GCash’s installment offer GGives.
