Ford Philippines has named the winners of its 2026 Ford Skills Olympics, a nationwide competition designed to strengthen dealer service teams’ technical expertise and improve the customer ownership experience.
Held for the first time at the new Ford Learning Center, the annual competition supports the automaker’s investment in its dealer network and its Ford Family Guarantee, which emphasizes quality throughout the ownership journey.
The 2026 competition featured two categories: Service Technician and Service Advisor. Across Ford’s network of 50 dealers nationwide, 452 technicians and 154 service advisors participated in the selection process, with seven representatives from different dealer groups advancing to the national-level competition.

Christian Paul Barroga of Ford Ilocos Norte took the top spot in the Service Technician category, followed by Kenneth Dimatulac of Ford Sta. Rosa in second place and Jerick Valencia of Ford Global City in third.
In the Service Advisor category, Emilio Hermida of Ford Subic emerged as champion. Jeffrey Cruz of Ford Manila Bay placed second, while Sean Kelvin Guangco of Ford Cebu finished third.
The Skills Olympics evaluates the skills needed to deliver consistent service, including technical knowledge, vehicle diagnostics, repair and maintenance procedures, customer consultation, and clear communication.
Barroga will represent the Philippines at the Ford International Markets Group (IMG) Skills Olympics in Bangkok this November, competing against champions from other Ford markets.
The competition forms part of Ford Philippines’ broader efforts to develop its dealer workforce. Through the Ford Learning Center, the company aims to equip technicians, service advisors, sales consultants, and dealer customer representatives with the skills and knowledge needed to meet evolving customer expectations and maintain service quality.
