It’s a 10!

We’re talking about realme’s new number series: the realme 10. With its latest device lineup, the brand hopes to continue its winning streak of being the Philippines’ top smartphone brand for six consecutive quarters.

If we’re going by our first impressions, it seems like realme will also be getting high marks on the consumers’ and critics’ scorecards for its newest smartphone offering.

So without further ado, here’s your first look at the realme 10.

What a beauty!

It’s hard not to fall in love with the realme 10 once you lay your eyes on it.

We got the Clash White variant, which stuns with its glittery finish and produces a rainbow-like gloss when hit by light from certain angles. A Rush Black colorway is also available if you want something more classic and muted. The realme logo can be seen at the lower left of the phone, while the dual camera module sits on the upper left part.

Speaking of the camera, this phone features a 50MP Color AI camera with Nightscape and Street Mode 2.0. There’s a 16MP selfie camera in front housed in the hole punch on the upper left corner of the screen.

Flip to the front and the 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display greets you with its Full HD+ resolution. Slim bezels border the screen at the top and sides.

A 200% UltraBoom speaker located at the bottom part of the phone pairs well with the vibrant screen to provide an enjoyable viewing experience.

Overall, the realme 10 is easy to hold thanks to its slim design (only 7.95mm slim). We love the tall form factor of this phone. The flat, angular sides and rounded corners elevate the design of this phone.

The SIM/microSD card tray is on the phone’s left side. Meanwhile, the power/lock key—which is also a fingerprint sensor—and volume rocker are on the right. At the bottom is the 3.5mm jack and the USB-C port.

Aside from the unit, the following are included inside the box: jelly case, power brick, charging cable, manuals & instructions, and SIM ejector.

Promising performance

realme equipped this smartphone with a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor with 6nm architecture and Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes paired with 8GB RAM, which can be expanded to 13GB via 5GB virtual RAM. All these promise realme 10 users with all-day gaming power, smooth and fast performance, and reliable connectivity.

This device has 128GB or 256GB (review unit) of internal storage—that’s more than enough space for all your media and app needs. If you’ll need more, the memory can be expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.

Powering this phone is a 5000mAh battery with 33W SUPER VOOC Charge. The big battery capacity should provide long-lasting performance. Moreover, the fast-charging technology can boost power from O% to 50% in just only 28 minutes—perfect for people who are always on the go.

Pricing and availability

realme is yet to announce the price of the realme 10 in the Philippines. This phone will be officially launched on November 9, so stay tuned!
