The Department of Health (DOH) has opened its first Wellness Clinic inside a mall. Located at the Government Service Express (GSE) on Level 2, North Arcade of SM Mall of Asia, the DOH Wellness Clinic is an initiative aimed at bringing healthcare closer to the community.
This development aligns with the DOH’s core principle: “Bawat Pilipino, Bawat Komunidad, Bawat Health Worker at Institusyon” (Every Filipino, Every Community, Every Health Worker and Institution).
The DOH Wellness Clinic offers comprehensive services, including preventive checkups, wellness programs, and health education. It focuses on early intervention to improve the well-being of employees and mall visitors.
Services include public health programs, family planning, maternal and child care, screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) like hypertension and diabetes, and mental health support.
