DJI has released its first Mini model in its Ronin Series. The new RS 3 Mini weighs just 795 grams, but it’s no weakling as it can carry cameras that weigh up to 2kg. That means it can easily support heavy mirrorless models and even some cinema cameras.
The compact, travel-friendly gimbal is designed to be easily managed with one hand and features Bluetooth shutter control; the latest 3rd generation RS stabilization algorithm that offers pro-level stabilization while running, shooting low-angle shots, or filming in flashlight mode; native vertical shooting, and a 1.4-inch full-color touchscreen with a new UI.
It also comes with an “M” button to switch between the three gimbal modes. You can conveniently adjust focus, ISO, aperture, and more using the front dial.
The DJI RS 3 Mini has a suggested retail price of $369 for the Standard Edition and $698 for the Creator combo (includes a DJI Mic + charging case,. Pricing and availability in the Philippines is yet to be announced.
