The digital takeover of Makati is well underway as Coins.ph rolls out its on-ground activation across the city. The campaign officially kicked off on March 2, and the “Coins Squad” has already engaged thousands of Makatizens eager to level up their financial game.
The initiative, which runs until March 5, brings digital payments and crypto-powered services closer to everyday users.
So far, the team has mounted successful pop-ups at Makati Medical Tower and MRT Ayala Station, showing commuters how easy it is to switch from cash to seamless QRPH payments. Instead of lining up to reload cards or fumbling for change, users can simply scan and pay using their phones.

Aside from the live demos, Coins.ph is offering cashback rewards for new users who sign up during the roadshow.
The Coins Squad continues its Makati leg with stops in key barangays including Guadalupe Nuevo, Guadalupe Viejo, Olympia, Palanan, Pinagkaisahan, Pio del Pilar, Sta. Cruz, Tejeros, Carmona, and Valenzuela.
Residents can visit community hubs to learn how to send peer-to-peer transfers, pay bills, buy load, and receive remittances in just a few taps.
According to coins.ph Global Marketing Director Amira Alawi, the activation reflects Coins.ph’s push to go beyond crypto and make digital finance more accessible.
After Makati, the roadshow will head to Pasig, San Juan, and Cebu, continuing its mission to bring smarter, faster money tools to Filipinos nationwide.
