Codegoda 2023 registration now open

Agoda‘s annual coding competition—Codegoda—is back for its 2023 edition, and registration is now open for interested participants.

Now on its fourth year, the global coding competition has grown to become an equal-opportunity platform, welcoming coders of all ages, backgrounds, genders, and levels of experience.

Participants will be tasked to solve six algorithmic problems within a three-hour window, mimicking real-life issues faced by Agoda’s tech team daily. The competition platform supports 15 coding languages, including C, C++, Java, Python 2, Perl, PHP, Ruby, C#, Clojure, Bash, Javascript, Go, Python 3, Objective C, and Java 8.

The overall winner will take home the $3,500 prize, while the 1st and 2nd runners up will go home with $2,500 and $2,000, respectively. Winners in the 4th to 10th place will receive a $250 cash prize. To support and encourage more women in tech, Agoda will also be awarding the top woman coder an additional cash prize of $500. 

The single-round competition runs from 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. PHT on April 1. Once started, participants will have three hours to complete the challenge.
