The Suzuki Burgman Street, known for its fuel efficiency, achieved impressive ratings of 93.70 kilometers per liter and 84.4kpl during the Burgman Street EconoRun held in Mindanao and Visayas this month.
The event featured 83 riders and 10 motovloggers competing for the title of most fuel-efficient on their Suzuki Burgman Street Standard and EX variant scooters.
In Visayas, participants rode from Suzuki AS Fortuna (Mandaue City) SMDI 3S Shop to San Remigio’s beautiful white sand beach in Northern Cebu.
Meanwhile, in Mindanao, contenders traveled from Shell Bago Gallera in Davao City to the scenic Magnaga Waters Beach Resort in Davao de Oro.
The routes included flat, twisty, uphill, and downhill sections, along with various traffic conditions, making them ideal for a fuel-economy challenge.
In Cebu, Jivy Casona topped the Burgman Street EX category with an impressive 84.4kpL, while Dario Villacorta Jr. secured first place with 80.34 kpL in the Burgman Street Standard category.
Motovloggers on Burgman Street Standard units showcased remarkable fuel efficiency, matching the Burgman Street EX with Boy Perstaym leading with 84.4kpL.
In Davao City, the Burgman Standard reached as high as 93.7 kpL, while the Burgman EX achieved as high as 75.13kpL,
The media category in Davao City was not far behind, with the winner Kumander Daot reaching 90.84kpL.
