This month of August, insurance company AXA Philippines is partnering with Oceanus Conservation to promote ocean literacy to Filipino children.

Oceanus, a science-based non-profit environmental organization focusing on the conservation and restoration of blue carbon habitats in the Philippines, aims to invest in the future of Filipinos through marine environmental education in local communities and marine-field programs that promote better appreciation of the country’s marine life.

Recently, it launched its second educational children’s storybook, Ocean Adventures with Cory, that shines a light on the impact of climate change on coral reefs.

For every customer who will sign up, pay their premium for the first time, or do top-ups on the Emma by AXA services platform from July 25 to August 31, AXA Philippines will donate ocean education storybooks to the children of Oceanus’ partner local communities through AXA Hearts in Action, AXA’s volunteer program.

Customers who successfully register to Emma by AXA will also receive an electronic certificate to commemorate their donation.

Emma by AXA allows safe and convenient in-app transactions for AXA customers such as checking of policy information real-time and hassle-free filing of hospitalization and motor claims. Non-AXA customers can also get free 24/7 access to emergency services such as roadside, medical, fire, and police assistance. By letting users list up to three emergency contacts, the app allows users to quickly contact their loved ones in case of emergencies.

Moreover, AXA customers can easily accomplish other essential transactions on the app, such as accessing their ePolicy, availing medical teleconsultation, and accessing their Global Health Access or Health Care Access eCard.

Emma by AXA can be downloaded on the Google Play or App Store. It can also be accessed via web.
