ASUS has launched two new premium laptops in the Philippines: the Zenbook S16 (UM5606GA) and Zenbook 14 (UM3406GA). Both devices are part of the new Copilot+ PC lineup and are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, delivering up to 50 NPU TOPS of AI performance.
The Zenbook S16 measures just 1.1 cm thin and weighs 1.5 kg. Despite its slim profile, it offers a 16-inch display for users who need a larger workspace for productivity or entertainment.
The laptop features an all-metal chassis with a Ceraluminum lid—a ceramic-aluminum composite material designed for durability while maintaining a lightweight build. It comes in Scandinavian White and includes an EasyLift hinge, a full-size ASUS ErgoSense keyboard, and a large touchpad with Smart Gesture support.
Powering the device is an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor with up to 50 TOPS NPU performance. It also includes AMD Radeon graphics, 32GB LPDDR5X memory, and a 1TB M.2 SSD for demanding workloads.
Cooling is handled by ASUS’ Thincredible thermal system with a large 3D vapor chamber and dual IceBlade fans, supporting up to 28W CPU TDP while keeping noise levels below 25 dBA. An 83Wh battery delivers up to 21 hours of use.
The laptop features a 16-inch 3K ASUS Lumina OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color. A six-speaker Dolby Atmos system enhances audio, while connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, dual USB4 ports, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and an SD card reader.
The Zenbook 14, on the other hand, offers a more compact option, weighing just 1.2 kg and measuring 14.9 mm thin in a Jade Black all-metal chassis.
It runs on an AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor with up to 50 TOPS NPU performance, paired with AMD Radeon graphics, 16GB LPDDR5X memory, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. Wi-Fi 6E ensures fast connectivity.
The laptop includes a 75Wh battery capable of up to 25 hours of use and supports USB-C Easy Charge. It also features a 14-inch WUXGA ASUS Lumina OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 87% screen-to-body ratio.
Additional features include Dolby Atmos speakers, an FHD IR camera with a privacy shutter, AI noise cancelation, Windows Hello facial login, and a dedicated Copilot key for quick access to AI features in Windows 11.
The Zenbook S16 is priced at P134,995, while the Zenbook 14 retails for P79,995. Both models are available at ASUS stores nationwide.
Each purchase includes Office 2024 Home lifetime, one year of Microsoft 365 Basic with cloud storage, and a two-year international warranty with one year of accidental damage protection under ASUS Perfect Warranty.
