All-new Toyota Veloz subcompact SUV to be launched on April 29

Earlier this week, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) dropped a teaser video of an all-new SUV model:

Today, TMP has confirmed that it is expanding its SUV lineup anew with the launch of the all-new Toyota Veloz on April 29. The launch will be livestreamed at 11am on the company’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

Toyota intends to market the subcompact SUV to customers looking for a bold and spacious ride for family members and friends.

“The upcoming introduction of the All-New Veloz marks another milestone for Toyota in the Philippines,” said Sherwin Chualim, TMP’s First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations. “Previously known as the top grade variant of the Avanza compact MPV range, the Veloz has evolved to become a new standalone brand ready to claim its position as a sub-compact SUV of choice for customers seeking new adventures.”

Price for the Veloz starts at P1,185,000. Authorized Toyota dealers across the country will start accepting reservations on April 23.
