The third-generation Honda HR-V made its debut in Thailand in November last year, and now the Philippines is finally going to see it in all its metal glory this April.

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has confirmed that it will unveil the all-new Honda HR-V on April 19, with 37 dealerships ready to accept reservations starting April 1.

According to Honda, the all-new HR-V will be offered with two engine options for its two model variants: a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter for the base S variant, and a 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo for the top-of-the-line V model.

It will also come equipped with Honda Sensing safety tech, which includes collision mitigation braking system, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane keeping assist system, and road departure mitigation system with lane-departure warning. There’s no word yet if this will be standard across the range.

HCPI says the prices for the V Turbo CVT and the S CVT variants will range from P1,300,000 to P1,600,000. Color options include Ignite Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and the V-exclusive Premium Opal White Silver. The last two colors will cost an extra P20,000.

The all-new HR-V will be launched at Honda’s official Facebook page on April 19, 2 p.m.
