For generations of Filipino children, Adarna House books have been a gateway to folklore, history, literature, and local traditions. Now, some of those familiar stories and illustrations are moving beyond the printed page and into digital classrooms and creative projects through a new partnership with Canva Philippines.
The collaboration introduces the Adarna House Creative Library on Canva, starting with printable pages from activity books such as Sanayang Adarna, Kaya Kong Magsulat!, and Kaya Kong Gumuhit! The materials are designed for coloring, writing, drawing, and simple learning activities, while illustrations from Sanayang Adarna can also be remixed into users’ own Canva designs.
For teachers, the collection offers another way to make lessons more engaging while incorporating familiar Filipino stories and imagery. Students, meanwhile, can use the materials for creative activities that connect learning with local culture.
The initial collection is only the start. Upcoming releases will include book-report guides, reading activities, classroom resources, and additional templates inspired by Ibong Adarna and Florante at Laura, bringing the classics into more learning activities and everyday creative projects

The new Adarna House elements and customizable templates are now available through the Adarna House Creative Library on Canva.
The partnership will also have an offline showcase at the Manila International Book Fair from September 9 to 13. Visitors can explore the collection at the Adarna House and Canva Philippines booth, join design challenges using Adarna templates, and take home customized Canva merchandise.
