Businesses with electric vehicles or shifting to an electric fleet can now have their EVs charged without building their own charging stations, as ACMobility expands its mobile charging service, Power-on-Wheels (POW), to more enterprise customers across Luzon.
The Ayala Group mobility company said the service delivers on-demand EV charging directly to offices, fleet depots, commercial properties, residential developments, and event venues, allowing companies to keep vehicles running without depending on fixed charging infrastructure.
The expansion comes as more businesses adopt electric vehicles to support sustainability goals and reduce operating costs. However, limited charging infrastructure continues to be a hurdle, particularly for companies operating multiple vehicles or facilities without dedicated charging stations.
POW uses mobile charging units that can be dispatched to business locations for scheduled or on-site charging. The service supports battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and select plug-in hybrid models through DC fast charging. Each unit has a capacity of up to 120 kilowatt-hours and is compatible with CCS2 and GB/T charging standards.
The service is aimed at a range of industries, including residential and condominium developers that want to offer charging for residents, office and commercial buildings serving tenants and employees, fleet operators seeking to maximize vehicle availability, and dealerships or retail businesses that need temporary charging during events and product activations.
Businesses can sign up for monthly or annual service contracts. The offering also includes a dedicated mobile coordinator and emergency roadside assistance for charging-related concerns.
Power-on-Wheels is now available to enterprise customers in Metro Manila, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, and Pampanga.
