ACMobility has officially launched its innovative Power-on-Wheels (POW) mobile EV charging service in the Philippines.
This initiative is designed to make the EV lifestyle more accessible for everyone. By bringing charging directly to customers, ACMobility complements its network of charging stations and offers a convenient, on-demand solution. No more hunting for chargers; they come to you when and where you need them.
Developed in partnership with Singapore-based Power Up Tech (P.UP), POW utilizes mobile charging stations equipped with onboard fast DC chargers, offering convenient charging at locations such as homes, condominiums, and offices. The service is accessible through the Evro app, ACMobility’s eMobility Service Provider partner.
Multiple POW units will be deployed across Metro Manila, initially operating in Makati, Mandaluyong, and Taguig, with plans for wider expansion. These units support fast DC charging up to 120kWh and are compatible with vehicles using CCS2 plugs, catering to both Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and select plug-in hybrids.
ACMobility offers flexible subscription plans—Light Duty, Commuter, and High Miler—tailored to various usage frequencies and battery sizes, including car care services and additional top-up options. Users can subscribe and book visits through the Evro app, with bookings required at least three hours in advance.
Here’s how to avail of the POW subscription plans:
- In the Evro app, go to the “Profile” and select ACMobility Membership under “Link Memberships”.
- From there, you can view available POW offers and choose the subscription plan that best suits your charging needs.
- After completing the registration form, proceed to the payment page to finalize your transaction.
To book a visit:
- Go to the ACMobility Membership Homepage and click “Book Now” under your selected POW plan.
- Enter the booking details, including your preferred location, date, and time, and your preferred add-ons.
To ensure efficient charging sessions, vehicles will be charged to a maximum of 80% and must have at least 20% state of charge to be serviced. Once completed, job photos will be available in the ACMobility Membership Portal under “Menu > Manage My Membership.”
To celebrate the launch, ACMobility is offering the POW3000 promo, providing a ₱3,000 discount on the first month of any subscription plan, valid from March 26 to June 25. This limited-time offer is valid for one-time use only. Any unused balance will not be refunded or carried over upon plan renewal.
