Positioned as a “full-size high-performance eco-technology sedan,” the Xiaomi SU7 will be available with in multiple e-motor options: HyperEngine V6 (295hp, 400Nm, 73.6kWh battery), HyperEngine V6s (369hp, 500Nm, 73.6kWh battery), and HyperEngine V8s (664hp, 635Nm, 101kWh battery). According to Xiaomi, the most powerful variant has a range of around 800km and can go from 0 to 100kph in 2.78 seconds.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has previously said that its own EV is designed to rival Porsche’s Taycan Turbo in terms of performance and the Tesla Model S in technology features.

The SU7 integrates Xiaomi’s new, unified operating system called HyperOS, completing the brand’s “Human x Car x Home” smart ecosystem.

According to Xiaomi, the EV’s Smart Cabin adopts a “human-centric” interaction architecture and features a 16.1-inch 3K central console, a 56-inch HUD head-up display, a 7.1-inch rotating dashboard, and two seat-back extension mounts that allow for the mounting of two tablet devices. Powering all this is a Snapdragon 8295 in-car chip with AI computing power.

The company claims the SU7’s system offers a seamless connection between smartphones and the electric vehicle. When you bring your phone into the car, the console displays an icon for easy access to the phone’s interface. Xiaomi also mentioned that the SU7 can link with smart home devices, allowing you to remotely control or monitor your appliances.

Pricing and other details about the Xiaomi SU7 have yet to be revealed.
