Xiaomi is betting big on mobile photography and all-day convenience with the launch of its new Xiaomi 17T Series, designed for users who want flagship-level camera performance without compromising battery life and everyday usability.
The lineup includes the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro, which combine Leica-powered imaging, advanced eye-care display technology, and next-generation battery performance in a more refined design.
At the heart of the Xiaomi 17T Series is a triple-camera system led by a 50MP main camera. The Xiaomi 17T Pro features a large 1/1.31-inch sensor, while the Xiaomi 17T uses a 1/1.55-inch sensor. Both devices combine Leica UltraPure optical design with a 1G + 6P hybrid Leica Summilux lens structure for sharper details, improved dynamic range, and more natural depth of field.
For the first time in the T Series, both models now feature a Leica 5x telephoto camera capable of capturing 50MP images with optical image stabilization (OIS). The camera supports 30cm macro photography, 10x optical-grade zoom, and up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom, allowing users to shoot subjects from near or far with greater flexibility.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro also introduces the brand’s first 4K 60fps cinematic recording on a Xiaomi Series smartphone. Specialized modes like Stage are designed to improve photo and video quality in difficult lighting environments such as concerts and live events.
Another major addition to the series is Leica Live Moment, a feature that captures movement and emotion before and after the shutter is pressed. Instead of focusing on a single frame, the feature creates more dynamic and story-driven images. Leica Live Portrait adds natural-looking bokeh effects. Meanwhile, newly designed exclusive Leica watermarks are available for Leica Live Moment captures, and multiple moments can be combined into shareable collages for social platforms.
Xiaomi is also highlighting comfort and display quality through its new Xiaomi Vision Care technology. The 1.5K AMOLED display reaches up to 3500 nits peak brightness for better outdoor visibility and automatically adjusts to surrounding light conditions to reduce blue light, flicker, and motion blur. Xiaomi says the series is the first to receive TÜV Rheinland quadruple eye-care certification and its first Intelligent Eye Care certification.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate, while the Xiaomi 17T offers 120Hz. The Pro model also features ultra-thin 1.29mm bezels on all sides using Xiaomi’s LIPO packaging technology.
Powering the series are massive silicon-carbon batteries. The Xiaomi 17T Pro packs a 7000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge support, while the Xiaomi 17T features a 6500mAh battery with 67W HyperCharge.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 17T Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 built on a 3nm process, while the Xiaomi 17T uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra on 4nm architecture. To maintain this peak output, the Xiaomi 3D IceLoop System provides advanced thermal management through efficient vapor–liquid separation.
